Junior guard Eric Webb, forward Moussa Diagne, sophomore forward George Brozos, and redshirt freshman guard Jadee Jones are among his recent additions to the Furman program.A native of Minneapolis, Medved attended Roseville (Minn.) High School and was a two-sport standout in basketball and golf. As a point guard on the hardwood, he earned four letters and served as a team captain his senior year. In golf, he was a two-time state tournament qualifier.Medved attended the University of Minnesota and served as a basketball manager and student assistant coach for two seasons prior to graduating with a B.S. degree in kinesiology in 1997. He earned his master's degree in sports management in 1999.While attending graduate school he served as associate head coach at NCAA Division III member Macalester College for two years.He is an avid Minnesota Vikings, Twins, and Timerbwolves fan.
